Tombola Bingo sponsors Sunderland AFC

We have already seen many online bingo sites signing deals to sponsor TV programmes and as many of you will be aware, Tombola Bingo have been sponsoring the ITV soap Emmerdale  for quite some time. It could be that TV programmes are not the only sponsorships that interest online bingo sites anymore as the news that Tombola Bingo sponsors Sunderland AFC from next season is brought to us.

The sponsorship by Tombola Bingo is initially for two years and the hope is that the new deal will expose them to a totally new audience, because as the new sponsors, this bingo sites name will be featuring on the both the home and away shirts of Sunderland players and also at key points throughout the Stadium of Light.

Incidentally the headquarters of Tombola Bingo are also based in Sunderland so this bingo sites bosses have been able to see first hand the progress that has been made by Niall Quinn and the team. Phil Cronin who is the founder of Tombola Bingo and marketing director of Sunderland Lesley Callaghan, both feel that the partnership will help both sides realise their ambition and prove to be a very successful one.

The question that many people will be wondering is what effect this deal will have on other online bingo sites and will they be tempted to follow suit? Of course only time will tell how successful the move will be for both Tombola Bingo and Sunderland AFC, but you can be sure that many other online bingo sites will be keeping a close eye on the partnership to ensure that any similar move they may consider in the future is the right one. However, this is a two year partnership which could leave other bingo sites lagging behind if they hesitate to respond at the right time and it proves to be a lucrative deal.
