While great progress has been made by both online bingo sites and mobile phone operators to enable people to be able to play games on their mobile phones, mobile bingo is something that is going to take a few more years to perfect. Some online bingo sites have side games that players can already play on their mobiles and a few offer bingo too, Mecca Bingo is one of these. However, some mobile phone networks are lagging slightly behind other in what they can offer as are bingo sites.

Some people may be wondering whether the prospect of playing at Mecca Bingo on their mobile is one to be welcomed.The UK is already considered to be a somewhat lazy nation with many people opting to use their home computers to shop and of course use online bingo sites such as Mecca Bingo, as opposed to taking a trip to your local Mecca Bingo hall to play bingo. This may prompt many of to ask whether this will encourage people to lie on the sofa in front of their TV to play bingo on their phone rather than get up and sit at their computer and use their favourite bingo sites.

It is difficult to see how mobile bingo can give the same experience to players that online bingo sites do. With such a small screen the game itself would be very difficult to see and the chat experience, which is one of the biggest assets that online bingo sites have, would be virtually impossible, if at all.

There is also a security issue that you won’t find when using online bingo sites via your pc. What would happen if you were to lose your mobile phone or it was stolen? How can you be sure that your details are safe? Clearly this is something that will need to be considered as mobile bingo continues to be developed, but for now many people may prefer to stick to what they know best which is to play bingo via their PC.
