Gala Bingo boom

It seems as though bingo is officially recession proof!! Attendances recorded at Gala Bingo in Peterborough have gone up by more than 400 percent over the last few months. Local residents see bingo as important entertainment, no matter the financial state of the country. In fact Bingo nights have become so popular that people are being turned away from the club.

Not to worry, they still have online bingo as an option and the Gala Bingo boom continues there. There aren’t any online bingo sites from which you will be turned away.

The popularity of the Gala Bingo club could not be more welcome, as many of the bingo clubs suffered poor attendance after the smoking ban was enforced back in 2007.  On some nights less than 100 people would walk through the doors. However management introduced discounts and special offer to lure people back to bingo.  The results of this promotional drive have been massively successful and last Thursday 1,500 people queued to get into the monthly free bingo session.

The credit crunch has caused people to re-evaluate their outgoings and people are looking for value for money when they go out. You cannot get better value for money than free bingo. Bingo is a lot cheaper than going out to a club or even a pub. Online bingo is also increasingly popular and bingo sites are swamped with members. It seems that even in the middle of a credit crunch the bingo business is still booming.
