Cashcade renews Dragonfish contract

There has been much speculation on the direction of Cashcade since the takeover by Partygaming back in July 2009. Cashcade is the name behind bingo sites such as Think Bingo, Foxy Bingo and Mirror Bingo, to name a few and it was thought that the takeover would trigger a change in software for these bingo sites. However, the news comes that Cashcade renews Dragonfish contract until 2014 dampening all of the rumours which have been rife since last year.

Those of you who use any of the Cashcade bingo sites, will know that the Dragonfish software has worked well for them and Foxy Bingo in particular, is probably one of the best known of all of their bingo sites. Any worries that players of these bingo sites may have had about losing the games that they liked the most if Cashcade had chosen to switch to the Partygaming software, will be relieved that they will be able to enjoy all of the things that have loved about Foxy Bingo or any others for another four years at least.

Dragonfish is an independent division of 888 Holdings and the software gives the operators of online bingo sites a lot of flexibility, enabling them to tailor their marketing campaigns and if this works for Cashcade then there seems no obvious reason to change. Dragonfish also offers back office integration along with payment processing and other technology services. These features are said to be very important to major stand alone networks.

Whether this contract will run beyond 2014 remains to be seen. With so many new bingo sites being added to the UK portfolio all the time, demands on software providers to improve will no doubt increase to enable bingo sites to remain as competitive as possible. The deciding factor for all operators of online bingo sites when it comes to choosing their software, will come down to which best provides for each bingo sites needs.
