Beacon Bingo re-brand Riva clubs

Bingo news

On 1st October a £500,000 investment saw Beacon Bingo re-brand Riva clubs in various locations throughout the UK. The six Riva clubs which are in Brighton, Streatham, Lowestoft, Cricklewood, Northampton and Loughborough have undergone massive internal and external refurbishment which includes new signage as well as new exterior smoking terraces.

With the smoking ban causing much of the downfall of the various bingo halls that have closed, this could be a reviving feature for the bingo halls by Beacon Bingo, and may even lure back some of the customers who have turned to internet bingo sites in favour of the halls.

As part of the £500,000 overhaul of the clubs, Beacon Bingo has sent out over 95,000 new membership cards to existing members of the previously named Riva Clubs. This mailing shot by Beacon Bingo, also advises the member of an 18 day promotional extravaganza that is on offer with over £125,000 of promotional prizes to be won when they play bingo at any of the new re-branded Beacon Bingo clubs.

Beacon Bingo has opened a ‘B2’ area within the newly refurbished Northampton club, which offers all members of Beacon Bingo a variety of events to enjoy. These include noisy bingo, cabaret, comedy nights, quiz nights, the list is endless.

This move by Beacon Bingo goes to show that with dedication and preparation, bingo halls can still compete with internet bingo sites. However, appreciating the success of such bingo sites, Beacon Bingo plans to launch its own online bingo site in November 2009.
