How long have you been playing bingo online?

I have been playing online bingo for around 5 years now.

What is your favourite online bingo site?

My favourite site at the moment is Wink Bingo, I always seem to be quite lucky over there. In the past Think Bingo was one of my favourites for many many years, and I made lots of friends on that site, it just grew too big for me.

If you could run your own bingo site what would you offer to players?

If I had my own site I think I would focus on smaller room numbers, yes smaller pots also but more chance for the individual players to win, and I would also have a very strict rule, no raiding (buying in multiple bingo rooms at once) would be allowed at all.

How do you think online bingo has changed since you first started playing?

It has become huge; when I first started playing and friends would ring me and ask what I was doing and I would tell them playing online bingo they didn’t know what it meant, I had to explain to them, also had a few of them joining bingo sites as it was a lot of fun and I didn’t always play to win. For me it was more the chat from other players and the chat hosts as well as the bingo chat games it cured my boredom. Now online bingo is advertised everywhere you look and of course the land bingo halls such as Gala and Mecca soon followed suit and launched their own online sites as well, these days you can’t open a newspaper or watch a television programme without seeing some kind of advertisement for online bingo. I also believe the no smoking ban in public places has boosted the amount of people now staying at home to play bingo online as they can do what they wish in their own homes.

What has been your biggest win playing online bingo?

Playing bingo I think £500, it was a £1,000 jackpot and I was lucky enough to share with another player, it was the most amazing feeling, I felt great, I was phoning family and friends just to tell them as I was so excited.

What do you think is most important to the success of any given bingo site?

I think caring about the players as individuals and not necessarily as a whole community is quite important as different people like different things and I think it’s good to have a wide variety of bonuses, bingo rooms, guaranteed pots, different card prices, a good loyalty programme, and so on, so that no matter what you are looking for there is a good chance you will find it when you play bingo.
