How long have you been playing bingo online?

Well I think it must be about 5 or 6 years, I can’t really remember, but I am fairly sure it was well before I had my son, who was 7 in January. At the time I just did a search for online bingo and it came up with very few bingo sites, so it was obviously a long time ago as I would get hundreds if I did a search now. But the site I chose to play at, I still use now, it has grown immensely and changed so much since I first started playing there.

What is your favourite online bingo site?

I don’t really have a particular favourite, all have good things and bad things about them, some have better priced games than others, some have more free bingo games, some have better jackpots, while others have better chat games and chat in general. I suppose it depends how I feel really. If I am feeling sociable I would play at JackpotJoy as I have played there the longest and know most people, but they are not the best with bingo promotions etc. If I want good jackpots and good bonus point giveaways and competitions I would play at Think Bingo. If I am short of money which is quite often, and fancy a game I would play at Wink Bingo as they tend to run cheaper games more frequently so my money lasts longer.

If you could run your own bingo site what would you offer to players?

I would try and run some kind of survey to find out what is most important to bingo players; obviously they all like freebies and any bingo site can only offer so much, but finding out what kind of freebies and promotions are important to them and trying to give them what they want but in a way that is different to any other site. I would certainly try to make bingo more affordable by keeping the maximum ticket threshold lower than a lot of sites. Every single customer who buys tickets is important and if you have a high maximum limit in a room, the smaller spenders are put off by the people who can afford to spend £25+ a time by maxing. The small spenders are just as important and that needs to be recognised.

How do you think online bingo has changed since you first started playing?

Where do I start? Certainly a lot busier, more bingo sites to chose from, bigger jackpots, competitions and side games

What has been your biggest win playing online bingo?

My biggest bingo win was £400. My biggest win playing a side game on a bingo site was £2,000

What do you think is most important to the success of any given bingo site?

Listening to what is important to the players, the people who play bingo games and keeping it exciting, the players bring in the revenue and keeping them all is the only way to be successful.
